The toy line may not have been the success it deserved to be but those Matchbox planes captured my imagination and made up a huge part of my childhood. Likewise, the comic didn’t last long but to this day remains a perennial favourite. A stunning team of talented writers and artists contributed to Ring Raiders and its short run had such epic potential.
