When I was off sick from school in 1988 my mum bought me a Christmassy Transformers Collected Comics Winter Special to cheer me up because she knew I liked the cartoon. Well, it was nothing like the cartoon, it was on a whole other level. I was hooked and fell in love with the comic and the toys. Then, much later in life the movies reignited that passion all over again, so instead of selling off my childhood collection like I’d planned, I purchased the previous 190+ issues to complete the whole Marvel UK run and read them all in real time on the blog’s social media. Now, the Transformers have found a permanent home right here on the blog, including a restart of that huge read through!
