Free gifts were a big deal for comics readers back in the 80s. Rarely appearing and always an event when they did, out of 68 regular OiNKs only 12 issues had something either tucked away inside or stuck to the cover. When an actual free record is given away with the first issue of a new comic you just know any further freebies are going to be special.
