The Christmas issues of our comics were always special occasions and now, as each issue of the original Transformers comic from Marvel UK enjoys it’s 40th birthday, I’m taking those festive editions I covered in the real time read through on the OiNK Blog’s Instagram and giving them their own full celebratory reviews here on the site itself. Of course, going hand in hand with these are the Transformers Annuals which Santa brought us days after the Christmassy issues. I’m a huge fan of the season and of Transformers so this seemed like the obvious way for me to celebrate the comic’s anniversary… for eight years. These are going to be a highlight of my very favourite time of the year, every year!
