BEANO 80th ANNiVERSARY BOX SET

Released in 2018 to mark the 80th anniversary of Beano, this wonderful box set of eight comics, a huge poster, Dennis and Gnasher fan club pack and other extras deserves more than just a simple write up. Eight comics pulled from eight decades is too good an opportunity for the OiNK Blog. Not a real time read through (for obvious reasons), but a read through of the eight comics on their release dates nonetheless. This should be a wonderful addition to this Retrospectives section of the blog.

A few years after buying this box set, on the recommendation of a friend who bought the weekly for his son, I discovered the Christmas Beano and loved it instantly. I now buy it every year. (Regular readers will know what I’m like every festive season!) You’ll find reviews of them and any additional posts for your enjoyment at the bottom of the page. This page will now Be More Beano.
