Annuals may go on sale a few months beforehand but they’re always Christmas gifts. As a child, seeing them in the shops really helped build the hype for the festive season. Below is an introduction to this particular series of real time read throughs, the book reviews themselves and any special features as this section grows. With various book series beginning on different years the reviews are listed in the order of publication rather than the order in which they’re reviewed. Unsurprisingly, these will be rather slow real time read throughs but that just makes them all the more special.
